Below, we explain some of the materials and finishes that can be found in our products.
Sterling silver:
Material: 925 sterling silver.
Gold-plated silver:
Material: 925 sterling silver with a gold plating. The gold plating is a surface finish, so its durability may depend on use, skin contact, sweat, cosmetics, water, and other environmental factors.
Not sterling silver:
Material: metal alloy with a silver-plated finish. In these items, the product is not made of 925 sterling silver. It is a metal alloy to which a silver-colored finish has been applied.
Gold-plated:
Material: Metal with a gold-plated finish. The product is made of the material or alloy specified in its product description and has a gold-colored surface coating.
Gold finish without certified plating:
Material: Metal with a gold finish. This distinction sets it apart from products where the supplier specifically states that gold plating is present.
Textile cord:
Textile composition: 100% waxed cotton cord. In the case of waxed cotton cords, the wax is part of the cord’s finish.
Wool:
Composition: 100% wool. It will be listed as 100% wool in its product details.
Leather:
Material: leather. Contains non-textile parts of animal origin.
Suede:
Material: suede. Contains non-textile parts of animal origin.
Nickel-free:
Information provided by the supplier: nickel-free. This information is based on the declaration or documentation provided by the relevant supplier.
Hypoallergenic:
Information provided by the supplier: hypoallergenic. This term indicates that the supplier states the product is designed to reduce the risk of causing allergic reactions, but it does not mean that the complete absence of reactions can be guaranteed for everyone. People with known allergies or sensitivities to certain materials may request additional information before making a purchase.
